Ron graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL with his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology.  After graduating, Ron started his investigation career working in the security clearance investigation industry as an Investigator retained by the United States Office of Personnel Management as well as Department of Homeland Security.  He was an annual top performer in the security clearance industry nationwide as a leader in production, quality and timeliness.  Ron was also involved in training new investigators and also assisted with recruiting.  He has an active security clearance and is a previous State of Florida Licensed Private Investigator #C 2701365.

 

For years, while conducting security clearance investigations, Ron met with Federal government contractors who consistently expressed a need for highly qualified and specialized government cleared talent. In March of 2016, Ron started Clayton Search, a search firm committed to connecting candidates and clients in the investigation, legal, security and government cleared industries.  Since March of 2016, Ron has been placing talented professionals with both large and small government contractor’s, cybersecurity firms, investigative firms and law firms around the country.  He prides himself on finding the “perfect fit” for both his candidates and clients.  

 

Ron’s experience recruiting and conducting personnel background investigations has given him a unique perspective and vantage point on career movement and progression. In his free time Ron enjoys working out, coaching his sons baseball team and spending time with his family.
